A few days ago, I finally got my first direct deposit from Adsense. Since they already took the taxes out of the amount, the amount deposited was rather underwhelming, but it should still help to cover some of the costs associated with maintaining the anime blog. In the last few months, the click-through-rate has increased dramatically, and I think Sea Slugs! is on its way to breaking even. To those who think that Adsense results in bazillions of gold being deposited into my account… sorry to disappoint. However, I can see how certain sites (like those that discuss loans or gadgets) might do much better than a site devoted to (mostly) fansubs of a pseudo-niche product.
