Ready, Headset, Go
The old Logitech is uncomfortable and broken, but I’m glad I kept it around. Still, I wasted no time snagging a new USB headset. I even got a $5 discount on the last day of the promotion. I’m looking forward to some USB ownage that will let me bypass my crappy onboard sound. I am also looking forward to having the cord plugged into the back of my computer (with no jumper fiddling) so that my cat cannot eat the wires again.
It’s too bad there aren’t better quality pictures for the headset. It should arrive tomorrow, but until then I am a little worried about how good it will be. The big blocky thing near the USB plug is a bit disturbing, and it doesn’t look like the ear cups swivel as much as my last headset’s did.
Sidenote: This post was extremely difficult to get up. For some reason, it refused to post. Tochi even caught me making a bunch of fake posts. Oddly enough, if I used a different title and text, it worked. I’m not sure why the original text refused to post, but eventually I just paraphrased it.
